Nicola Behrman is an Energy Alchemist, shaman, writer and founder of THE ORA GUIDE, a platform for spiritual and creative transformation. For more than two decades, she has created and led experiences, ceremonies and journeys designed to help people reconnect with their own souls and with the innate wisdom, creativity and light that live within them.

Nicola previously served as the resident Energy Alchemist and Spiritual Counselor at California’s Ojai Valley Inn and as a visiting guest Alchemist at Miraval, leading shamanic journeys, despachos, new moon and full moon ceremonies, spiritual teachings and private Illumination Sessions. Her work draws deeply on the Akashic Records and Soul Frequency, and includes The Celestial Journey, her signature transformational offering.

In 2013, following a series of seven ceremonies and personal transmissions with revered Peruvian Q’ero elder and shaman Don Mariano Quispe Flores, Nicola was passed rites to transmit and share teachings and energies connected to the Pleiades constellation, or Seven Sisters.

Alongside her spiritual work, Nicola is a writer and lifelong storyteller. Born and raised in London, she began her career at BBC Panorama before becoming a writer. She is also the co-creator of 10Q, an annual digital reflection project that has been experienced by more than 100,000 people around the world for nearly 20 years.

Nicola holds a degree in Broadcasting from the University of Leeds, sponsored by the BBC, a Master’s in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica, and a Master’s in Scriptwriting from Bath Spa University. She and her work have been featured in The New York Times, The Telegraph and The Independent.

Today, Nicola works closely with a small number of individuals through deeply curated, long-form engagements that can shape everything from creative direction and spiritual life to new businesses, offerings and bodies of work. She brings that same intuitive and transformational approach into organizations and creative businesses, helping to shift perspectives, unlock creativity and open up new possibilities for teams and leadership.
